Where Our Love of Cooking Meets Community

TastyHandbook started the same way so many good meals do — around our kitchen table. For us, food has always been about more than what’s on the plate. It’s about connection, discovery, and the joy of sharing something you created with others.

Our Story

🙋‍♀️ Adelina is the true chef of the family — an avid cook with more than 2,000 cookbooks, hundreds of which are on shelves and dozens stacked (sometimes literally) around the house. She’s always experimenting, always baking bread, and always finding a way to turn even the simplest meal into something memorable. She’s also taught countless bread and cooking classes, proving that her kitchen is as much a classroom as it is a place to eat.

🙆‍♂️ Mosses, on the other hand, is the tech mind behind TastyHandbook — but don’t let that fool you. He loves cooking and baking in his own right, and is known to hold his own when it comes to bread or a well-executed dish. If Adelina brings the inspiration, Mosses makes sure there’s a way to share it with the world. Together, we balance cookbooks and code, flavor and function, turning our shared passion into something bigger than ourselves.

Why We Built TastyHandbook

We wanted to create a space that reflects the way we cook in real life: side by side, with friends, family, and anyone who shares a love for good food. TastyHandbook is our way of bringing people together — to discover cookbooks, explore cuisines, take on fun challenges, and meet fellow food lovers.

What We Believe

  • Cooking should be shared. Meals taste better when stories and laughter are part of the recipe.
  • Food is culture. Cookbooks and recipes are not just instructions — they are windows into traditions, flavors, and histories.
  • Community matters. From beginners to seasoned chefs, everyone has something to contribute and something to learn.
  • Curiosity keeps us growing. Every dish, every book, every attempt in the kitchen is a chance to learn and connect.
  • The table is for everyone. No matter your background, skill level, or favorite dish, you belong here.

Pull Up a Chair

This is just the beginning of the journey, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether you’re here to try something new, meet fellow food lovers, or finally open that cookbook collecting dust on the shelf — TastyHandbook is your place to explore, cook, and connect.
